Stock photos of Skyduster Palms (plants of the genus Washingtonia). There are just two species in this fan palm genus: Washington filifera and Washingtonia robusta. Both are found in northwestern Mexico and W. filifera extends into southern California and southwestern Arizona. Although squat and broad-headed when young, they mature to tall, narrow-trunked palms with a relatively small heads of long-stemmed 1-2m wide fronds. They are widely grown as avenue or boulevard trees.
