Kenworth Trucks
This a page of stock pictures of Kenworth trucks. The Kenworth name, which for many defines the all-American truck, appeared in 1923 when Henry Kent and Edgar Worthington renamed Worthington's Gerlinger Motor Car Co. Always at the forefront of truck development, in 1933 Kenworth became the first American truck maker to use diesel engines and have been making extensive use of weight-saving aluminium since the 1940s. Pacific Car and Foundry (PACCAR) acquired Kenworth in 1944. Today PACCAR also owns Peterbilt, Foden, DAF and Leyland. Many of the Kenworth trucks shown here were built in Australia.
