David Brown Tractors

A page of stock pictures of David Brown tractors. Sir David Brown (1904-93) was a British industrialist. In the 1930s David Brown Gear Cutters manufactured Ferguson tractor parts but this arrangement ceased in 1939 and it wasn't until after WWII that full scale production of tractors began. These early VAK models soon evolved into the very successful Cropmaster, which was eventually replaced by the 900 series. David Brown was acquired by Case in 1972. Incidentally the DB in the famous Aston Martin sports car series refers to David Brown, as his company acquired Aston Martin in 1947.
