Stephanotis - Bridal Wreath, Madagascar Jasmine

The most widely grown is Stephanotis floribunda, a very fragrant-flowered native of Madagascar, hence the common name Madagascar Jasmine. Its clusters of waxy, white, widely flared tubular flowers open over along period during the warmer months. It is frost tender but is widely grown in cooler climates as greenhouse or conservatory plant. The flowers are popular for bridal corsages.
