Amomyrtus

Stock photos of plants of the genus Amomyrtus. Formerly known as Luma and before that classified in Myrtus, this myrtle family genus is made up of just two species of evergreen shrubs native to Chile and Argentina. They have attractive red-brown barks that peels somewhat, and during the warmer months they produce masses of small white to cream or pink-tinted flowers that are mildly scented. Small fruits that are black when ripe and edible follow.
