Senecio
Stock photos of plants of the genus Senecio, a group of around 1000 species of evergreen perennials, shrubs, trees or scrambling plants with a near worldwide distribution. They are especially common in the subtropical to warm temperate zones and are a highly variable group of daisies. Foliage and form can vary enormously, but most produce clusters of yellow flowerheads. The genus has been much revised over the last 30 years and many of the species have been moved to other genera such as Roldana and Brachyglottis. Some species, such as Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea) are regarded as weeds and can be found in the Daisy Family Weeds category.
