Azaleas - Evergreen A-M
A page of stock pictures of evergreen azaleas starting with A-M. Evergreen azaleas are small to medium-sized winter- to spring-flowering shrubs native to temperate and subtropical Asia. Strictly speaking, they are not evergreen but have dimorphic foliage. That is, the leaves that develop in spring fall in autumn, while those that develop in summer hang on to fall slowly over the following summer. Evergreen azaleas are divided into a range of groups, such as Belgian Indica, Kurume, Kaempferi and Satsuki based on their parentage, flower type, flowering season and growth habit. The evergreen azalea colour palette does not include yellow or pure orange.
