Convallaria - Lily of the Valley
Stock photos of Lily of the Valley (plants of the genus Convallaria), the sole species of which is a rhizomatous perennial that is widespread in the northern temperate zone. Lily of the Valley is completely dormant over winter and produces its sprays of fragrant bell-shaped white or pink blooms in spring after the foliage has developed. The flowers are followed by orange-red berries. Although the scent is very attractive and is a widely used fragrance, the plants can be invasive in loose, moist soil.
