Campanula - Bellflower
Stock photos of bellflowers (plants of the genus Campanula), of which there are some 300 species of annuals, biennials and perennials that are widespread in the northern temperate zones. They are mainly clump-forming, spreading plants, sometimes with erect flower spikes and most bloom in spring or summer. The flowers occur predominantly in pink, mauve and purple shades and white, and vary considerably in size. Some species are ideal for rockeries while others are more at home in large perennial borders or in the case of Canterbury Bells (Campanula medium) in a bedding plant display. A few species are good cut flowers.
