Agapanthus

Stock photos of plants of the genus Agapanthus. Commonly known as Lily of the Nile, these strappy leafed perennials occur in some 10 species and many cultivars and hybrids. Despite the common name they are native to southern Africa. Their strong roots are thick and fleshy and together with the heavy seeding of most forms can make them somewhat invasive and difficult to remove.
