Actaea - Baneberry, Bugbane
Stock photos of Baneberries or Bugbanes (plants of the genus Actaea). Formerly considered a genus of 8 species of perennials from the northern temperate zones, most botanists now incorporate the genus Cimicifuga into Actaea, which raises the number of species to over 20. These perennials have finely divided ferny foliage. They flower in summer and autumn and produce spike-like racemes of tiny white or pink-tinted flowers on wiry stems, followed by glossy berries.
