Stock photos of Button Ferns (plants of the genus Pellaea), a group of around 80 species of mainly terrestrial ferns found in the tropical to warm temperate regions. The pinnate fronds are composed of small rounded leaflets, hence the name button fern. The rhizomes and stems are covered with fine brown scales. These ferns prefer well-drained conditions and do well in a shaded rockery.
