Streptocarpus - Cape Primrose

Stock photos of Cape Primroses (plants of the genus Streptocarpus), an African violet (gesneriad) family genus of around 130 species perennials and subshrubs, some of them monocarpic. They occur in central and eastern Africa, including Madagascar, and extend eastwards to Thailand and Malaysia. Several species are popular house plants in the temperate zones and the hybrid Streptocarpus x hybridus is widely grown.
