Sarracenia - Pitcher Plant

Stock photos of Pitcher Plants (plants of the genus Sarracenia), of which there are some 8 species, perennials native to the North America. The species interbreed freely and many hybrids occur, either naturally or through cultivation. Although many are quite frost hardy, these carnivorous plants have rather specific soil and humidity requirements and consequently they are usually treated as house or terrarium plants.
