Pavonia
Stock photos of plants of the genus Pavonia, which is made up of around 150 species of evergreen perennials , subshrubs and shrubs that are widespread in the tropics, especially in the Americas. Outside the tropics they are mainly seen as house or greenhouse plants. They are members of the mallow family (Malvaceae)and the flowers have the pronounced central staminal tube common to these plants, though it is often not apparent until the flowers are fully open. The flowers are mainly in yellow, pink, red, mauve or purple shades.
