Monstera
Stock photos of plants of the genus Monstera, which is made up of some 22 species of extremely vigorous, strong-stemmed, boldly foliaged vines native to tropical America. They usually begin life as epiphytes, clinging to the host tree by masses of aerial roots that eventually reach the ground. The arum-like flowerheads are followed by soft fruits that are sometimes edible. The Swiss Cheese Plant (Monstera deliciosa) is widely grown as a house plant in its juvenile phase.
