Hoya - Wax Flower
Commonly known as wax flowers, there are over 200 species in the genus Hoya. They have thick, fleshy leaves and produce clusters of nectar-rich flowers that are usually pendulous and often fragrant. Widely cultivated outdoors in the tropics and subtropics and also very popular as house plants in the temperate zones. The genus includes species that are very beautiful as well as some whose main attraction is their unusual appearance.
