Anthurium
Stock photos of Flamingo Flowers or Tailflowers (plants of the genus Anthurium). There are around 900 species in this tropical American genus. They are evergreen perennials that are mainly epiphytic. Members of the arum family, they have the typical aroid spathe and spadix flowerheads, which are often very brightly coloured. There are many fancy cultivars and these are popular as house plants and for floral decorations. After flowering, conspicuous berries often develop on the spadix.
