Stock photos of Oatgrass (plants of the genus Helictotrichon), a group of around 60 species of perennial grasses found in the temperate Northern Hemisphere and southern Africa. They form dense tussock of relatively broad leaves that are sometimes folded along the mid rib. Panicles of minute flowers appear in summer, held on wiry stems above the foliage. They develop into seedheads that can be long-lasting.
