Farm Clearance Auction - Methven

Scenes from a farm clearance auction held at Methven, Canterbury on May 2nd, 2008. It was a cold, wet day but during the period of the auction the weather cleared enough to make conditions in the field not too unpleasant. This cropping farm and its equipment were being sold because the farmer had developed a disability that meant he was unable to continue to work the land.
