Echinocactus
Stock photos of cacti of the genus Echinocactus, which is made up of 5 short-stemmed species native to the southwestern United States and neighbouring parts of Mexico. Most are globose when young, though one, Echinocactus polycephalus will eventually produce more elongated stems. This rounded shape gives rise to one of the common names: Barrel Cactus. They are densely spiny and produce small yellow and/or pink flowers around the crown of the stem. Mature plants often produce offsets quite freely
