Drimys
Stock photos of plants of the genus Drimys, a group of around 30 species of evergreen shrubs and trees found from South America to Australia. They have aromatic foliage and in spring produce sprays of starry cream to pale yellow flowers, those of the popular Winter's Bark (Drimys winteri), being quite showy. These reasonably hardy evergreens provide attractive foliage throughout the year and are well suited to warm temperate areas. Small peppery fruits follow the flowers and have been used as a pepper substitute.
