Dictamnus - Dittany, Burning Bush
Stock photos of Dittany or Burning Bush (Dictamnus albus), the sole species in its genus and a woody-based perennial found from southwestern Europe to Korea. It grows to around 80cm tall and has pinnate leaves with broad, rounded leaflets to 8cm long. The 25mm wide flowers are white, pink lilac, red or combinations of those colours and held above the foliage on reddish stems. The whole plant is aromatic and releases vapours that are flammable, hence the common name Burning Bush.
