Dianella - Flax Lily
Stock photos of Flax Lily (plants of the genus Dianella), a group of 25-30 species of evergreen perennials found mainly in Australia and New Zealand with a few species extending into nearby parts of Asia and the Pacific. They form dense clumps of foliage reminiscent of a small New Zealand flax (Phormium) and produce small white to pale blue flowers on wiry stems that extend beyond the foliage clump. The main attraction is the fruit that follows: large numbers of yellow berries that ripen to bright blue, purple or blue-black.
