Cytisus - Broom
Stock photos of Broom (plants of the genus Cytisus), a group of over 30 species of leguminous shrubs found in Europe, western Asia, North Africa and the Canary Islands. They have green stems and may be leafless for much of the year, having small trifoliate leaves when temperature and moisture levels allow. The flowers are pea-like, usually white to golden yellow, but sometimes red, pink or purple in the garden forms, and often very abundant. Some species, most notably Cytisus scoparius are inclined to be invasive in some areas.
