Horseradish - Armoracia
Stock photos of Horseradish (plants of the genus Armoracia) a group of three species of Eurasian herbaceous perennials with vigorous spreading roots. The commonly grown horseradish is Armoracia rusticana, a native of southeastern Europe. Also known as red cole it is grown for its white roots, which are made into a pungent sauce. The foliage clump can be up to 90 cm high and the heads of small white flower can extend a further 30cm above that. When cultivated, horseradish is usually prevented from flowering.
