Hardenbergia
A page of stock pictures of plants of the genus Hardenbergia, of which their are three species, all natives of Australia. They are highly valued for their magnificent flower display and even better is that it appears in winter. The two common species, Hardenbergia comptoniana and Hardenbergia violacea are hardy to about -6°C once established and can be successfully grown in temperate climates if given the protection of a warm wall and overhanging eaves. Both are strong growing twiners with deep green leaves and racemes of small sweet pea-like flowers.
