Cleyera
Stock photos of plants of the genus Cleyera, a group of 17 species of evergreen and deciduous shrubs and trees with an unusual natural distribution, some being found from the Himalayas to Japan, others in Mexico and Central America, including the West Indies. They have pointed oval leaves, usually with finely toothed edges and pale undersides. The new growth is sometimes brightly coloured, often red to bronze, and there are variegated cultivars. The genus belongs in the Camellia family (Theaceae) and the white to creamy yellow flowers are rather like small single camellia blooms, being borne in small clusters in the leaf axils.
