Chordospartium - New Zealand Broom
Stock photos of New Zealand Broom (plants of the genus Chordospartium), which is composed of two species of leafless leguminous shrubs or small trees native to New Zealand. One, the quite widely cultivated Chordospartium stevensonii, has a graceful weeping habit, white the other, Chordospartium muritai, is an erect, many branched shrub. Both produce white to pale lilac flowers with darker veins. The individual flowers are tiny but abundant, so the effect is quite showy.
