Ceratopetalum
Stock photos of plants of the genus Ceratopetalum, a group of 5 species of evergreen shrubs and trees found in Australia and New Guinea. The genus is best known for Ceratopetalum gummiferum, which is sometimes known as the New South Wales Christmas Bush because it is at its most brightly coloured in midsummer - Christmas in the Southern Hemisphere. It has trifoliate leaves with toothed, dark green leaflets and, its clustered small flowers are backed by red sepals that continue to intensify in colour even after the flowers have fallen.
