Bupleurum
Stock photos of plants of the genus Bupleurum, a group of around 200 species of mainly Eurasian annuals, perennials and subshrubs with a few species also found in South Africa, the northern United States and the Canary Islands. They tend to have simple, rounded deep green leaves, sometimes waxy textured, and their flowerheads are typical of those of the umbellifers: rounded, with small flowers on short radiating stems. Several species have local medicinal uses and the dry powdered root may be found as an ingredient in health supplements.
