Arisaema
A page of stock pictures of plants of the genus Arisaema, which is made up of some 150 species of bulbous-rooted perennials found mainly in Asia, with others in Africa and a few from eastern North America. They are very distinctive plants that have arum-like flowerheads, often with a prominent spadix, and bold foliage. They produce one flowerhead per bulb and usually flower in spring to early summer. Some species are pollinated by flies and have flowers with an unpleasant odour.
