Lake Coleridge Power Station
The power station at Lake Coleridge Village is the oldest operational hydro-electric generator in New Zealand and was a major feat of construction in its time. The power station is located near the Rakaia River and the water to run it is drawn from Lake Coleridge through a network of large pipes that run overland to the station.
