Browallia - Bush Violet
Stock photos of Bush Violets (plants of the genus Browallia), a group of three species from tropical South America; two small, bushy annuals and one a shrubby perennial. They have simple pointed oval leaves and 5-petalled flowers in various shades of blue to purple or white. The annuals, Browallia americana and Browallia viscosa are often cultivated as summer bedding in temperate gardens or grown for quick colour in greenhouses or conservatories. Browallia speciosa is a long-flowering evergreen that thrives in any warm frost-free climate and which also does well in a bright spot indoors.
