Stock photos of Blackberry Lily or Leopard Lily (plants of the genus Belamcanda) of which there are two species found from Europe to Japan. The commonly grown Belamcanda chinensis occurs from the Central Asian republics to Japan and is an erect summer-flowering bulb. It forms a fan-like clump of spear-shaped leaves and produces a wiry flower stem topped with attractively marked 6-petalled flowers, usually in shades of orange, red or yellow. When ripe the seedpods split open to reveal clustered black seeds.
