Alpinia - Ginger Lily
Stock photos of Ginger Lily (plants of the genus Alpinia), a group of around 200 species of evergreen perennial with cane-like stems and large leaves that are sometimes boldly variegated in the garden forms. They occur over much of tropical Southeast Asia, including northeastern Australia, and are grown mainly for their large and showy flowerheads, which are held on sturdy stems that in some species can reach 3m tall. Most will not tolerate frost or prolonged cold and require at least a frost-free warm temperate climate.
