Alangium
Stock photos of plants of the genus Alangium, a group of 17 species of shrubs, tree and climbers found from tropical Africa to Japan and eastern Australia. Most a evergreen, though the most widely grown species, Alangium platanifolium form Korea and Japan, is deciduous. They are cultivated mainly for their impressively large and heavily veined foliage and to a lesser extent for their summer-borne sprays of small flowers, which are usually greenish white to pale yellow, sometimes flushed with red. Berry-like drupes follow the flowers and in some species are quite colourful.
