Adiantum - Maidenhair Fern
Stock photos of Maidenhair Ferns (plants of the genus Adiantum), a very widespread group of around 200 species of mainly low-growing evergreen ferns with fine, diaphanous foliage that is usually quite a bright green on dark wiry stems. They have spreading rhizomes that in some species grow on the surface, allowing the plants to scramble over or climb up low obstacles. In suitable damp conditions in the wild they may grow as epiphytes or lithophytes. Several species are popular as house plants.
