Stock Photo: Tabernaemontana divaricata 'Flore Pleno' Image ID CFG9305

Picture: Tabernaemontana divaricata 'Flore Pleno', a double-flowered cultivar of a lushly foliaged 2m tall evergreen shrub found in the area bounded by northern India, Yunnan China and northern Thailand. Commonly known as Crepe Gardenia, this shrub does look very gardenia-like but the two are not closely related and Tabernaemontana flowers, while scented, are far less fragrant than gardenia blossom.
