Rhododendron 'Bashful' (Rhododendron yakushimanum ssp. yakushimanum x 'Doncaster'), a compact, heavy-flowering hybrid introduced by Waterer of England in 1971. One of a group of similar hybrids named after and known as 'The Seven Dwarfs'.
