Stock Photo: Grapefruit 'Wheeney' Image ID CFG8777 Photo Category: Citrus     Picture: 'Wheeney' Grapefruit (Citrus x paradisi 'Wheeney' [aka 'Wheeny'), a heavy-cropping grapefruit with pale yellow fruits that are fairly thick-skinned. 'Wheeney' is a New Zealand raised cultivar introduced in 1943. The origins of the grapefruit are unclear and it is most likely a hybrid, possibly between Citrus maxima and Citrus sinensis.
