Stock Photo: Peperomia caperata Image ID CFG8694

Emerald Ripple (Peperomia caperata), an evergreen perennial that is very widely grown as a house plant. Its natural distribution is unclear, though it is probably a native of Brazil. While it freely produces its short white flowerheads, it is mainly grown for it heavily textured leaves, which are borne on red stems.
