Picture: Attempting to start a Lanz Bulldog N tractor in a starting competition. The Lanz tractors have very low compression and require that their fuel is pre-heated before starting, using a small lamp. The rest of the starting procedure is also unusual, note how the steering wheel and column is removable and inserts into the side of tractor, acting not so much as crank but a rocker.
