Picture: A Yellow-eyed Penguin (Megadyptes antipodes) chick. This chick is still fully covered with juvenile down but is already as large as its parents. One of the rarest penguins, this species is found on the coasts of Canterbury, Otago and Southland, New Zealand and the nearby Subantarctic Islands.
