Fronds of the Chinese Windmill Palm, Chusan Palm or Hemp Palm (Trachycarpus fortunei), a tough 10-20m tall fibrous-trunked fan palm from central and eastern China and Burma. One of the hardiest palms, this species can be grown in areas such as coastal western Scotland.
