Stock Photo: Eucalyptus delegatensisImage ID HPA2595

Bark strips hanging from the upper branches of an Alpine Ash (Eucalyptus delegatensis), a 40-90m tall evergreen tree from southeastern Australia and Tasmania. Some eucalypts shed copious quantities of bark, which along with the foliage makes a highly combustible litter.
