Cootamundra Wattle (Acacia baileyana) with developing seedpods. This bushy 5–8m tall tree is native to south-eastern Australia. One of the most widely cultivated wattles, its flowers open from mid-winter and last well into spring. The ferny, silver-grey foliage is very distinctive.
