Witherod (Viburnum cassinoides), a deciduous, 2.5m tall, eastern North American shrub. Its matte green leaves are bronze when young and when open its tiny cream flowers are often difficult to distinguish form the buds in its flat flowerheads. Pink fruits that mature to blue-black follow.
