Daboecia cantabrica 'Atropurpurea', a dark-flowered form of St. Dabeoc's Heath, a wiry-stemmed summer- to autumn-flowering evergreen shrub native to western Europe, excluding Britain. It grows to around 50cm high and has a spreading habit.
