Picture: The foliage and flowers of Ilex fargesii ssp. melanotricha, a subspecies of a red-fruited, 5-12m tall, evergreen holly native to China. Subspecies melanotricha is found in Burma, Tibet and Yunnan and differs from the species in having very fine teeth on the leaf edges.
